Microsoft Ignite The Tour Beijing Review: Learn Connect Explore
To be honest, this is the first time I participated in the Microsoft Ignite The Tour as a speaker. And I am very happy to participate in such a conference as a Microsoft community MVP, too. Yes, I come from the community. And my session is also related to my community, Unity, C # and cross-platform development.
My trip to the Microsoft Ignite The Tour conference can be summarized in the following three parts.
Learn, Connect and Explore.
0x00 Learn
Even as a speaker at the conference and a senior developer, you still can’t understand all the technologies. It’s important to know what you don’t know. And this conference was obviously a good learning opportunity for me – learned about azure, communicated with the azure community, and understood their way of thinking. As a result, I gained a lot of knowledge this time. For example, I am thinking about using Azure Pipeline to build and deploy my personal website on Azure.
0x01 Connect
On Tuesday, December 10, I delivered my first ever session at Microsoft Ignite, a session about Unity, C# and cross-platform development. I am very happy that many developers from the azure community also attended this talk and you guys liked it.
Technology connected/connects us together:).
0x02 Explore
Explore means “to search and discover”. People like to say “explore the future”. I think Microsoft’s Azure cloud and AI & ML are the answers to explore the future. There are more and more new solutions to enhance workflow and optimize productivity in the workplace with Azure cloud and AI & ML.
But I think there is still some room for improvement at this conference. That is, Microsoft should explore more about local habits. For example, Chinese people usually take time for lunch and rest at noon. But this time many sessions were held at lunch time. I think that the Ignite The Tour conferences held in different parts of the world should take full account of local habits in advance. Of course, this conference is already very good.
0x03 Overview
At the end of the article, I would like to say that I am very happy to be a speaker at Microsoft Ignite The Tour this year. Share the knowledge of C# and Unity with the community :).
